The ACS Secretary-General holds a discussion with former ACS leader
Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – February 17, 2025 – The Secretary-General of the ACS, H.E. Noemí Espinoza Madrid, met virtually with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Multilateral Relations of the Dominican Republic, Rubén Silié, who served as Secretary-General of the ACS from 2004 to 2008. The conversation provided a valuable opportunity for Secretary-General Espinoza to gain insights into Vice Minister Silié’s mandate and exchange perspectives on the future of the ACS.
During the meeting, Secretary-General Espinoza outlined her vision for revitalizing the ACS, aiming to build a stronger and more strategic Greater Caribbean that plays a leading role in regional development and has a significant impact on the global stage.
