ACS meets the United Nations Development Programme
For UNDP, gender equality is a cross-cutting issue of high priority, which is of mutual interest for the ACS. As such, conversations ensued around the support of initiatives and the creation of projects that encompass gender equality, a fundamental issue for the development of the Greater Caribbean, as well as other thematic areas, namely tourism, institutional strengthening and internships.

ACS meets the Ibero-American Program for Strengthening South-South Cooperation
There is great interest on the part of both institutions to promote experiences in cooperation in the Greater Caribbean, as well as the experiences that other member countries of the ACS and the Southern Cone can contribute, enriching the existing conversations, but, above all, strengthening the capacity of the Membership in matters of South-South and Triangular cooperation.

World Meteorological Day 2022: Early Warning and Early Action. Hydrometeorological and Climate Information for Disaster Risk Reduction.
Between 2012 and 2022, approximately 17,287 lives were lost as a result of storms and floods in the Greater Caribbean. During that same period storms, floods, droughts and extreme temperature accounted for USD$ 806,993,076 in damages. In 2017, Dominica and Barbuda were both ravaged by Hurricanes Maria and Irma respectively, the worst storms to hit these islands in their entire history
