Secretariat Congratulates Suriname on 46th Independence Anniversary

The Association of Caribbean States extends its congratulations to the Republic of Suriname on the country’s 46th Anniversary as an independent nation.

Known for its incredible ethnic diversity, Suriname gained its independence from the Netherlands on November 25, 1975.

Suriname is a founding Member of the ACS and is currently serving as Rapporteur of the Special Committee on Sustainable Tourism
