ACS Congratulates Guyana on 52nd Independence Anniversary

The Association of Caribbean States extends its congratulations to the Co‑operative Republic of Guyana on the country’s 52nd Anniversary of Republic Day.

Also known as Mashram ani, this holiday is the National Day of Guyana and commemorates the country becoming a republic on this day in 1970.

Guyana is a founding Member of the ACS and served as Chair of the Special Committee on Sustainable Tourism in 2018.
