The ACS and the EU discuss cooperation

The Association of Caribbean States (ACS) held a productive meeting with the European Union (EU). The meeting aimed to identify opportunities for cooperation towards sustainable development in the Greater Caribbean Region and to strengthen relations with Latin America and the Caribbean. Both sides addressed issues such as climate change, the influx of sargassum, transport and digital connectivity. Present at the meeting were the Chairman of the ACS Council of Ministers, Minister Albert Ramdin, ACS Secretary General, H.E. Rodolfo Sabonge, Mr. Brian Glynn, Managing Director for the Americas of the EU's European External Action Service (EEAS) and Mr. Jonathan Hatwell, Head of Division for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean of the EEAS.
