ACS and Guatemala sign a Memorandum of Understanding to host the 9th Summit of Heads of State and/or Government

The Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States, Rodolfo Sabonge, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala, Mario Bucaro Flores, have signed an agreement that initiates planning for a series of statutory meetings scheduled for May this year, which will culminate with the 9th Summit of Heads of State and/or Government of the ACS in Antigua Guatemala.
At the ceremony in Guatemala, the host country, in its capacity as Chair of the ACS Council of Ministers for the 2022-2023 period, assumed responsibility for hosting this important event, with both sides recognising the importance of organising an inclusive Summit.
