ACS attends the XI Italy - Latin America and Caribbean Conference

ACS Secretary General Rodolfo Sabonge participated in the 11th Italy - Latin America and Caribbean Conference, held on 13 October 2023 in Rome, Italy. This conference represents the high point of the dialogue between Italy and the Latin American and Caribbean region. This year's edition, held in collaboration with the Italian-Latin American Institute (IILA), focused on fostering the consolidation of political relations with the region, the promotion of investments and partnerships, collaboration in the fight against organised crime and in the fields of justice and security, and collaboration in cultural, academic and scientific-technological matters.
In the framework of this conference, the Secretary General met with Laurence Martin, Secretary General of the Federazione del Mare to discuss the project the ACS is working on to improve maritime connectivity in the Greater Caribbean. The ACS is committed to continue working to strengthen cooperation to improve the lives of people in the region.
