ACS & United Kingdom Discuss Cooperation

Secretary General Rodolfo Sabonge and High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Trinidad and Tobago Harriet Cross met in Port-of-Spain on Tuesday and discussed the role of the ACS in coordinating and organisation sustainable development projects in the Greater Caribbean.
SG Sabonge spoke about ACS priority areas including establishing better air and sea transport links, sustainable tourism and the environment.
High Commissioner Cross detailed the UK’s interests in climate change cooperation and her country’s hosting of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in 2021.
The United Kingdom has been an Observer of the ACS since 1999.
