The Association of Caribbean States attends the 11th Global Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Action
The Association of Caribbean States (ACS) participated in the 11th Global Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Action, held as a hybrid event from 10-12 October, 2023 in Berlin, Germany. Hosted by the Anticipation Hub under the theme, "People at the centre: scaling up anticipatory action", the event convened participants from across the globe to evaluate the impacts of anticipatory actions and discuss ways to strengthen, advance and scale up anticipatory action.
Christal Benjamin, Disaster Risk Reduction Research Assistant represented the ACS at the event and co-moderated the parallel session, Revisiting past disasters and reimagining their future". The ACS takes the opportunity to congratulate the Anticipation Hub on the successful hosting of a spectacular event.
