Grenada Celebrates 48th Independence Anniversary

The Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States wishes the people and the government of Grenada a happy celebration on their anniversary of independence.
Grenada achieved its independence 48 years ago on February 7, 1974, and is well known today for its variety of natural parks.
We acknowledge the invaluable contribution of Grenada to the work of the Association as a founding Member State and hope that we will continue to work together to achieve common development goals and overcome the shared challenges that our Region confronts.
