ACS Secretary General Pays Courtesy Call on the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – January 15, 2025 – Her Excellency Noemi Espinoza Madrid, the new Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, on January 15, 2025.

During the meeting, Secretary General Espinoza outlined her vision for the ACS and emphasized that dialogue and collaboration are the way to achieve sustainable development in the Greater Caribbean. The discussion was both productive and positive, highlighting the crucial role of Trinidad and Tobago in ensuring all the Member States are actively engaged in ACS initiatives.

The ACS Secretariat looks forward to strengthening its collaboration with the Government of Trinidad and Tobago during Secretary General Espinoza’s tenure, as it continues to promote the principles of unity, collaboration, and solidarity that define the Greater Caribbean.
