El Secretario General se reúne con el Rector de la Universidad Marítima Internacional de Panamá (UMIP)
El Secretario General de la Asociación de Estados del Caribe (AEC), Rodolfo Sabonge, se reunió con Víctor Luna, Rector de la Universidad Marítima Internacional de Panamá (UMIP) con el propósito de analizar la posibilidad de establecer una asociación formal entre la UMIP y la AEC, permitiendo así que la universidad se convierta en un actor social dentro de la organización.
La AEC reconoce la importancia de fortalecer los lazos con las instituciones educativas, especialmente aquellas dedicadas a la formación en temas marítimos y relacionados con el Caribe.
