ACS Secretary-General and Deputy Foreign Minister of Türkiye Affirm Strong Ties and Future Collaboration

Antalya, Türkiye – April 13, 2025 – Association of Caribbean States (ACS) Secretary-General, Noemí Espinoza Madrid, met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Türkiye, Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The meeting reaffirmed the strong relationship between the ACS and Türkiye and explored avenues for enhanced collaboration.

Secretary-General Espinoza Madrid expressed her gratitude to Deputy Foreign Minister Gümrükçü for Türkiye's hospitality and the invitation to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. Discussions focused on Türkiye's potential participation in the upcoming Greater Caribbean Summit to be held in Colombia from May 27-30, 2025, and the shared ambition to deepen cooperation, particularly within the framework of the ACS's new strategic plan. Both parties expressed a strong desire to strengthen ties and explore collaborative opportunities.
