Honourable Minister,
On behalf of the Association of Caribbean States, I wish to extend sentiments of solidarity to the Government and People of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the aftermath of the recent devastation caused by torrential rainfall and flooding.
Permit me to assure you that the Association of Caribbean States joins with the rest of the regional and international community in extending its sympathy and sincere condolences to you, for the tragic loss of human life, as well as the devastation and infrastructural damage wrought in your Island States.
We know that your natural resilience and spiritual fortitude will see you through this difficult time. Notwithstanding, the Secretariat stands ready to liaise with the rest of the ACS Membership on your behalf, and we ask that you provide information regarding the recommended focal point with whom we may communicate so as to facilitate any assistance that it may be possible to provide.
Permit me to renew to you, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration and esteem.
