ACS & Martinique will host the 1st Connectivity Conference of the Greater Caribbean

Within the margins of the 16th Regional Cooperation Conference held on 8-9 March, 2023 in Guadeloupe, H.E. Rodolfo Sabonge, ACS Secretary General, had a fruitful bilateral meeting with H.E. Serge Letchimy, President of the Executive Council of Martinique. In July this year, the ACS will co-host the 1st Connectivity Conference of the Greater Caribbean with Martinique, current Chair of the ACS Special Committee on Transport.
To this end, an INTERREG application to support the organization of the conference was also signed and will be submitted to the INTERREG facility for final approval. Enhancing regional transport connectivity is a priority area in the ACS work programme and this event intends to revitalize and engender a renewed approach by transport stakeholders to coordinate efforts and espouse ideas for sustaining transport and business connectivity in the Greater Caribbean.
