Assistant OAS Secretary General Visits the ACS

Port of Spain (May 01, 2012) – The Secretariat of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), received today a courtesy visit from the Assistant Secretary General of the Organisation of American States (OAS), Ambassador Albert Ramdin. Also participating in the meeting was the OAS Representative in Trinidad & Tobago, Dr. Riyad Insanally.
The meeting covered a broad agenda, which included reinforcement of the historical cooperation between ACS, OAS, CARICOM and SICA, the need for collaboration and support in the areas of small and medium business development and mechanisms to strengthen connectivity among countries in the Caribbean.
