The Focal Points for the Sandy Shorelines Project held their 6th Meeting to present the progress and next steps on the establishment of the Caribbean Sandy Shorelines monitoring network. Secretary General Rodolfo Sabonge reaffirmed the ACS's commitment to strengthening the resilience of coastal communities that face the effects of climate change. He also urged Member States and Associate Members to heed the call of the United Nations Secretary General to accelerate recovery from COVID-19 and to create a world in which everyone can prosper in peace, dignity and equality on a healthy planet.

This meeting was possible with the support of the Korean International Cooperation Agency, which has continued to support the Sandy Shorelines Project.
