Association of Caribbean States Holds its 27th Intersessional Preparatory Meeting for the 30th Ordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Council
January 24, 2025 – The Association of Caribbean States (ACS) held its 27th Intersessional Preparatory Meeting for the 30th Ordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Council virtually today. Representatives from ACS Member States and Associate Members came together to discuss key priorities and set the stage for the upcoming 10th Summit of Heads of States and Governments of the ACS, scheduled to take place in Colombia in May 2025.

ACS Secretary-General holds a meeting with Venezuelan Ambassador
On January 17, 2025, Her Excellency Noemi Espinoza Madrid, Secretary-General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), held a productive meeting with His Excellency Álvaro Sánchez, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Trinidad and Tobago. During the meeting, they discussed strategies to strengthen regional integration and address shared challenges.

ACS and Colombia meet to discuss Climate and Regional Challenges
Her Excellency Noemi Espinoza Madrid, Secretary-General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), hosted a meeting with His Excellency William Bush, Ambassador of Colombia to Trinidad and Tobago, and a delegation from the Colombian islands of San Andrés and Old Providence on January 16, 2025. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss topics that pose regional challenges including climate change and environmental sustainability.
