ACS & France's BRGM Sign MoU to Protect Caribbean Coastlines
The ACS and the French Geological Survey Bureau of the Caribbean (BRGM) are collaborating to protect Caribbean coastlines.
The ACS signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BRGM in Port-of-Spain in June. The exchanges between the ACS and BRGM on coastal erosion cooperation began in 2016 and the collaboration was formalised with the signing of June 11, 2019, at the french embassy in Trinidad & Tobago.
The objectives of ACS' coastal erosion project, Sandy Shorelines and BRGM's Carib-Coast are closely aligned. The two parties agree to cooperate and share resources.
