Secretary General Rodolfo Sabonge and a team from the ACS met with consultants on the Caribbean Regional Oceanscape Project (CROP) Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) Framework to discuss how to avoid duplication of efforts on trans-boundary MSP issues. CROP is a project funded by the Global Environment Facility through the World Bank which aims to move the Caribbean towards a blue economy - sustainable use of the ocean’s resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods and jobs, as well as maintenance of ocean ecosystem health to ensure continued benefits.
