Disaster Risk Reduction Special Committee Meets to Plan Work Programme

The Special Committee for Disaster Risk Reduction, led by chair, Jamaica, met to discuss the ACS work programme for 2022-2024. The representatives from Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana – the other members of the Special Committee - joined the meeting to discuss strategic plans for DRR in the region, including improving early warning systems and improved analysis of Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping.
