Comunicado del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de la República de Cuba
El día 14 de febrero de 2024, quedaron establecidas las relaciones diplomáticas y consulares entre la República de Cuba y la República de Corea, mediante un intercambio de Notas Diplomáticas efectuado entre las Representaciones Permanentes de ambos países ante las Naciones Unidas, en Nueva York.
El establecimiento de las relaciones oficiales entre ambos países se llevó a cabo de acuerdo con los propósitos y principios de la Carta de las Naciones Unidas, el Derecho Internacional y en conformidad con el espíritu y las normas establecidas en la Convención de Viena para las Relaciones Diplomáticas del 18 de abril de 1961.
