<p>Le 14 février 2024, les relations diplomatiques et consulaires entre la République de Cuba et la République de Corée ont été établies par un échange de notes diplomatiques entre les représentations permanentes des deux pays auprès des Nations Unies à New York. </p><p>L'établissement de relations officielles entre les deux pays a été effectué conformément aux buts et principes de la Charte des Nations Unies, au droit international et à l'esprit et aux normes établis dans la Convention de Vienne sur les relations diplomatiques du 18 avril 1961.</p>
