This year&#039;s theme, &quot;Wetlands and Human Wellbeing,&quot; underscores the importance of recognizing, restoring, and conserving these vital habitats and the essential ecosystem services they provide to our communities.</p><p>In the Greater Caribbean, wetlands play a crucial role as an important nature-based solution to build regional climate change resilience. World wetlands day is a timely opportunity to raise awareness about the challenges faced globally and promote wetland restoration and conservation.</p>
