Colombia Celebrates its 214th Independence Anniversary

The Secretariat of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) is honoured to congratulate the Government and People of Colombia on the commemoration of their independence, achieved on July 20, 1810.

In this regard, the Secretariat would like to express its deep appreciation to Colombia for its exemplary leadership as the Chair of the ACS Ministerial Council. Colombia’s significant role is further highlighted by its historical importance as the country where the Convention Establishing the ACS was signed in 1994 in Cartagena de Indias.
