Happy Independence Day, Trinidad and Tobago!

ACS is honoured to congratulate the Government and People of Trinidad and Tobago on commemorating their independence, which was won 61 years ago on August 31, 1962.

In this regard, we express our best wishes for the continued peace and prosperity of the People of Trinidad and Tobago. We express our sincerest appreciation to Trinidad and Tobago for its generous and steadfast collaboration and cooperation with the ACS in your country's capacity as Member State and Host Country of the ACS Secretariat. 

We are confident that we will achieve common development goals and overcome the challenges that confront our Region as we continue our engagement to strengthen consultation and cooperation and take concerted action.

The Association of Caribbean States is the organization for consultation, cooperation and concerted action in trade, transport, sustainable tourism and natural disasters in the Greater Caribbean.
