Trinidad and Tobago's Foreign Minister Meets with ACS Chargé d’affaires

Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs met with Ms. Tricia Barrow, Chargé d’affaires of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS). They discussed preparations for the upcoming 29th Meeting of the ACS Ministerial Council, which will lead to the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Association on July 24, 2024. Trinidad and Tobago is the host of the ACS Secretariat

Minister Browne confirmed Trinidad and Tobago’s continuing commitment to supporting the ACS which promotes consultation, cooperation and concerted action for sustainable development in the Greater Caribbean, amongst the 35 States and Territories comprising its Membership, with the support of Partners, notably Observer States and Organisations.

The Association of Caribbean States is the organization for consultation, cooperation and concerted action in trade, transport, sustainable tourism and natural disasters in the Greater Caribbean.
